The Texas Law Doctor client portal
Stay connected
to your case.
Follow your case without waiting for the next check-in call. See frequent updates, documents, and next steps in one place, with designated office hours when you want to talk.
For a new inquiry, share a brief, nonconfidential summary. Representation is subject to firm review and acceptance.
Clear information. A familiar place.
Know where
your case stands.
Your case should not go quiet between check-ins. We aim to give you a near-real-time view of the work on your case, with frequent portal updates as actions are recorded and shared—from documents received and sent to calls made and received.
Routine status updates come through your portal instead of scheduled biweekly or monthly check-in calls. You can follow progress on your schedule, while our team spends more time preparing and negotiating your case.
The public sample uses fictional information. Your own portal shows information connected to your account and shared by the firm.

A practical view of your matter
The details you need,
together in one place.
The portal is built around the parts of a case you may want to revisit. Available information depends on your account, your matter, and what the firm has shared.
01 · My case
Your case stage.
View the current stage shown for your matter, what happens next, and updates from your team. The portal provides a way to follow the information the firm has made available to you.
02 · To Do List
Your next steps.
See tasks that need your action and distinguish them from items submitted for review or marked complete. Requested items have a clear place to appear.
03 · Messages
Your conversations.
Send messages to the case team and revisit replies in the portal. Messages provide a place for questions and follow-up; a response may take time.
04 · Documents
Shared files.
Find documents shared with you and upload requested materials. Viewing, downloading, or requesting a copy depends on the permissions for each file.
05 · Appointments

See appointment details on file. Scheduling options depend on what is enabled for your account; you can contact the firm about available arrangements.
06 · Case activity

Discuss transportationSettlement transparency
Understand your recovery before you decide.
Before we ask you to accept a settlement offer, we provide a clear estimate of your net recovery—the amount expected to reach you—and explain how the settlement would be disbursed. You can review the proposed distribution and ask questions before deciding.
Estimates reflect the information available at the time and may change as amounts are finalized.
Accessing your account
Use the email the firm knows.
Sign in with the email address the firm has on file for you. If you received a portal invitation, use that same email address. A new account may require email verification before you can continue.
If the email you use does not match the firm’s records, or you cannot see your matter after signing in, contact the team for help. The firm may need to review the account match before case information is available.
Your portal and your case team work together.
Use the portal’s Help area or contact the firm for assistance with account access. You can also ask about dedicated call hours with your case manager and supervising attorney, or request help coordinating transportation.
The portal reflects information the firm has shared. It may not show every development immediately, and its Documents area does not automatically display every internal record associated with a matter.
If you are unsure what an update means, need a document you cannot find, or want to discuss your next step, contact your team through the portal or call the firm. Your case team remains the place to clarify questions about your individual situation.
